This is my starter dog team I brought with me when I move to CA from Alaska. Yellow dog is Binky and Brown dog is Uno. At this time hey are about 2 years old. This is the results of ten years of breading and dog mushing in Alaska. Clocked at 15 mph. These dogs can run up to 100 miles a day in 9 hours taking our time including plenty of rest stops and snacks as a reward of doing a good job. Captured in 2004 This map shows our kennel location in Alaska were I raised these Uno and Binky since they were one day old prepairing them for a wonderful career and companionship. Knik is subdevition reserved for dog mushers yes that is the old Iditarod trail (bottom left) running threw the kennel I shared with my good friend GB Jones (Iditarod musher). Now the Iditarod restarts in Willow due to global warming and no snow. We still train with atv's and dog sleds when we do have the snow.
